* There are several native Alaskan languages, and that's why in some cases there's more than one name with the same meaning.
Although they may originate in different countries, these northern breeds share similar characteristics such as their gorgeous, thick coats, curled tails and strong-willed personalities.
Some are ancient breeds (such as the Icelandic Sheepdog), others are much newer (such as the Alaskan Klee Klai), but I think any of the exotic names in the above list would be a perfect fit for each and every one of them :)
